Canada Summer Jobs Grant Program

This is a program hosted by the federal government the only conditions are the group is registered as a non-profit or charity organization and have a payroll account with revenue Canada.

This program will fund 100% of the wages paid to summer students for any work you need them to do for your group. Additionally, the program also provides additional funding for the costs of payroll. The purpose is to provide students with working experience. For example, you can hire university/college students to maintain your website or create one, perform phone canvasing, write grants, perform research, and many other tasks.

The program submission date, each year, is by late January. So, for this year the program is closed. However, you can get your group ready to apply for next year. By reviewing the requirements and applying for a business registration and payroll account with Revenue Canada. I will be providing specific instructions and details on the page Registering a Group page. To learn more about the Federal Government’s Canada Summer Jobs Program click here.
